Abstract

Digital literacy has become a key determinant of educational success in the 21st century. As learning environments increasingly integrate digital platforms, students without digital access or skills face significant disadvantages. This paper examines the concept of digital literacy, its relevance to modern education, and how disparities in digital access contribute to the widening education gap, especially among socio-economic and geographical groups. The study further explores key challenges and suggests strategies to reduce digital inequalities and promote inclusive education.
