🎯 Scope & Focus

We invite manuscripts that explore diverse facets of Tamil Studies, including but not limited to:

Classical Literature: Sangam Literature, Epics, and Ethics.
Linguistics: Evolution of the Tamil language, Grammar, and Comparative Linguistics.
History & Archeology: Tamil Nadu’s cultural history and epigraphy.
Modern Literature: Contemporary poetry, fiction, and drama.
Translation Studies: Bringing Tamil masterpieces to a global audience.
Folklore & Arts: Traditional performing arts and folk traditions.

⚖️ Editorial Policy & Ethics

To uphold the reputation of NGM College and the principles of Care, Respect, and Truth, TAMILMANAM adheres to a rigorous ethical framework:

Double-Blind Peer Review: All submissions are reviewed by at least two independent subject experts.
Plagiarism Policy: Every manuscript is strictly screened using Drillbit/Ouriginal software. Only original work with similarity scores below 10% is considered.
Open Access: All published articles are freely available to the global academic community to maximize citation and impact.

📝 Submission Guidelines

Scholars and researchers are invited to submit their original, unpublished work.

Submission Checklist:

Language: Articles must be written in Tamil or English (focused on Tamil studies).
Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Unicode font.
Abstract: A concise abstract of 150–200 words followed by 5 keywords.
References: Follow the MLA Handbook or APA Style consistently.
