| Abstract | The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes competency-based education, equity, and inclusive
learning through effective integration of technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers significant potential to
design adaptive and inclusive learning systems that cater to diverse learner needs, abilities, and socio-cultural
backgrounds. This study focuses on designing an AI-driven inclusive learning framework aligned with NEP
2020 competencies. The proposed system utilizes adaptive learning algorithms, learning analytics, and assistive
AI tools to personalize instruction, assess competencies, and support learners with disabilities and varied
learning paces. The research evaluates the effectiveness, inclusivity, and ethical considerations of AI-enabled
competency-based education, aiming to enhance accessibility, learner engagement, and equitable learning
outcomes in Indian educational contexts.
