Abstract

This study examines the interconnected roles of cognitive and emotional intelligence and their combined
impact on student learning outcomes. Cognitive intelligence forms the foundation for critical thinking and
problem-solving, while emotional intelligence fosters essential life skills such as self-awareness, empathy, and
effective interpersonal communication.
Adopting a mixed-methods approach, the research included surveys and observational studies involving
both students and educators. Standardized assessments were used to measure levels of cognitive and emotional
intelligence. The findings revealed a strong correlation between the two, underscoring their shared influence on
academic performance and social adaptability.
The study underscores the importance of incorporating both cognitive and emotional intelligence into
educational practices. By doing so, educators can better support the development of well-rounded students,
equipping them to navigate the challenges of an increasingly complex world.
