Tourism marketing is undergoing a paradigm shift with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Predictive consumer insights enable tourism destinations to design targeted, personalized, and effective
promotional strategies. This study explores the role of AI in promoting Tenkasi, a culturally and
environmentally rich district in Tamil Nadu. The objectives include examining AI’s role in smart marketing,
analyzing predictive analytics on tourist behavior, assessing AI tools, and providing strategic suggestions for
enhancing Tenkasi tourism. Statistical data from global and Indian tourism studies support the analysis,
highlighting the transformative potential of AI for destination branding, revenue growth, and sustainable
tourism development.
