Abstract

Agriculture, the backbone of human civilization, faces
unprecedented challenges in the 21st century. With a
growing global population, shrinking arable land, and
increasingly unpredictable climatic conditions, the need for
innovative solutions to enhance crop productivity and food
security has never been more pressing. In response to these
challenges, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a
promising technology with the potential to revolutionize
agriculture. This study aims to explore the transformative
role of AI in agriculture, with a specific focus on plant
disease detection. By leveraging AI-driven methodologies,
such as deep learning algorithms and advanced image
processing techniques, farmers can detect and diagnose
plant diseases with unprecedented speed and accuracy. This
capability is crucial for mitigating crop losses, optimizing
resource utilization, and ensuring the sustainable
production of food.
